About the Program
Program Overview
Make Seoul your summer classroom with an international program combining Korean-language learning, KPOP and cultural experiences in the heart of Hongdae. Open to students aged 12 and above, the program welcomes participants from around the world for stays starting from two weeks.
The program is based around five minutes on foot from Hongik University Station, placing students close to Hongdae's restaurants, cafes, shopping streets, music, fashion and street culture. Morning Korean classes normally run from 09:30 to 12:20, Monday to Friday, followed by Special Focus Lessons, cultural activities or KPOP sessions depending on the selected course. The sample timetable is not a full-day schedule, leaving free time outside the planned classes and activities.
Students can choose a Semi-Intensive Korean course or a KPOP course combining Korean lessons with dance, vocal training and practice time. Korean classes develop practical language skills through a systematic curriculum, regular feedback and written and speaking tests. KPOP experiences may include HiKR Ground, dance-studio visits, entertainment-company tours, BTS-themed locations and live-show opportunities, subject to the final schedule and any additional participation fees.
The social and cultural program may include a welcome party, Korean food tours, traditional activities, palace visits in hanbok, Han River picnics, Korean cooking, market races, karaoke, N Seoul Tower, Lotte World, Everland, laser tag and KPOP dance experiences. Activities are accompanied by program staff, helping students explore Seoul, meet friends and experience traditional and contemporary Korean culture. Schedules may change because of weather, participation levels or local conditions, and some activities require an additional fee.
The two-week package includes a welcome pack, Korean lessons with native teachers, hand-picked Single Room G1 accommodation, round-trip Meet & Greet airport transfers, 24/7 student support, language activities and workshops, social and cultural activities, course books and materials, orientation, placement and progress testing, a course certificate and graduation ceremony, school Wi-Fi, and travel and medical insurance. Twin rooms and homestay options for teenage students may also be available.
Optional weekend trips can include Busan or Jeju.
The package starts from USD 2,608 for two weeks with the Semi-Intensive Korean course and Single Room G1 accommodation under the documented promotional rate. Flights, meals, local transportation, personal expenses, selected premium activities and optional weekend trips are not included. Contact Asia Pathway for current availability, confirmed activities, room options and the latest package price.

About the Institution
Rolling Korea

Seoul (Hongdae)
Rolling Korea is a Korean immersion school in Hongdae, one of Seoul's most creative and student-friendly districts. Established in 2012, Rolling Korea combines Korean-language education through Rolling Language Academy with accommodation, cultural activities, community events and practical support for life in Korea. The result is a connected study-abroad experience that helps international students build confidence in the classroom and use Korean naturally throughout the city.
Students can choose Intensive Korean, Semi-Intensive Korean, General Korean, Korean plus K-pop, TOPIK Preparation, private lessons, Semester or Year Abroad and seasonal Summer Camp options. Programs welcome learners from Starter to Advanced level, with complete beginners supported through dedicated entry points. Most courses begin every Monday throughout the year and can be arranged from a short two-week stay to a long-term program of up to 52 weeks.
Core Korean lessons develop speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar. New students complete an online placement test and survey before arrival, followed by an on-site speaking assessment during orientation. Depending on the course, students can add special-focus lessons, TOPIK preparation, K-pop vocal or dance training and organised social activities. Weekly completion ceremonies and Rolling Korea certificates celebrate each student's progress.
The Hongdae campus offers modern glass-walled classrooms, a Global Lounge for activities and self-study, R Cafe, free Wi-Fi, computers, magazines and a student snack bar. The school is located at 3F, Daesang Building, 19 World Cup buk-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, close to Hongik University Station and the cafΓ©s, music, shopping and nightlife that make Hongdae one of Seoul's most exciting international neighbourhoods.
Rolling Korea can arrange furnished single-room accommodation in Hongdae, including compact private studios, larger private rooms and modern co-living options. Current accommodation choices include private bedrooms and bathrooms, shared kitchen access, Wi-Fi and utilities, with school-approved buildings generally within a five to twenty-minute walk of campus. Airport transfers from Incheon and Gimpo, arrival guidance and ongoing English-language support can also be arranged.
Rolling Korea is an excellent choice for students who want more than classroom study. Most participants travel independently, making the school especially welcoming for students who want to meet people, join a supportive international community and experience everyday Seoul with confidence.
Asia Pathway can help students select the right course, study length, accommodation and arrival services, then guide the application from planning through enrolment.
